Kabir Bedi, aged 70, married long-time partner Parveen Dusanj, 41 on January 15. This is the actor’s fourth marriage and Parveen’s first.

Kabir’s first wife was the late danseuse Protima (mother to Pooja and the deceased Siddharth), his second was Susan Humphreys (they have a son together — Adam). His third shaadi was to TV/radio presenter, Nikki Bedi.
It is but natural that Parveen would want her own children someday. Kabir and she have been together for a decade now.
Parveen realised that her biological clock is ticking and since she and Mr Bedi weren’t married, she’d frozen her eggs as a precaution. And so, it’s same to assume they plan to start a new family soon. Wonder how Kabir’s first-born Pooja will take the news, given her strained relationship with her father over Parveen.

DIANA HAYDEN DID IT, TOO!
Recently, 42-year-old Diana Hayden gave birth to baby girl Arya in Mumbai. The child was born from an egg Hayden had frozen eight years ago. She was 32 when she first heard about egg freezing. Diana, who had endometriosis, froze 16 eggs, sometime between 2007 and 2008.

About egg freezing
Egg freezing can be beneficial to women wishing to preserve their fertility for the future. Women who want to or need to delay childbearing in order to pursue educational, career or other personal goals or women diagnosed with cancer can go in for this procedure, which costs up to Rs 3 lakh.
