The much-awaited 'Kaapaan' teaser is finally here. The deadly and power-packed teaser is the perfect treat on Tamilian New Year. Suriya fans especially have a surprise in store as their favourite actor dons various avatars and steals the show in all of them.
The teaser of 'Kaappaan' introduces Suriya as a mysterious person in mask who holds a knife. Soon after we see Mohanlal being witness to a blast right behind his car's passing. Our suspicions and excitement are at an all-time high since Suriya is introduced as various characters - ranging from a farmer to a differently-abled muslim man.
Our suspicions over the beloved star Suriya turn stronger when Sayyeshaa Saigal, who is introduced in the film, also terms him as a terrorist. In fact we get to see various terrorist activities back-to-back and it is always linked to Suriya in some or the other way.
In a scene which follows, one can easily assume that Suriya intends to kill Mohanlal. His power makes for the scene after that. The actor is in fact deadly even with a bloodied face. Suriya hits a man with a glass bottle. In a parallel story, Arya and Boman Irani have a discussion over destruction of Tamil Nadu.
Arya and Sayyeshaa also enact a scene from their real life. The story focuses back on Suriya, who is seen in another avatar, fighting for his rights. In the scene which comes right after, Suriya plants a deadly train destruction. When he goes on to put a point across, the actor is accused of being a naxal (a big revelation).
Directed by KV Anand, the music of the film (just like the teaser) by Harris Jayaraj plays a major role in boosting the impact of the film. Abinandan Ramanuja's cinematography also marks an important aspect of the teaser. The movie is produced by '2.0' helmers Lyca Productions.
