Justin Timberlake has been roped in to perform at Britain’s most prestigious music awards: Brit awards, for the first time since 2004.

The 32-year-old actors/singer’s special performance will be a UK television exclusive marking his big comeback and it is hoped that Jay-Z - who features on his new single - will also take to the stage during the show, the Daily Mail reported.

The 3 time BRIT Award winner announced his return to music at the beginning of 2013 by writing an open letter to let his fans know that he was gearing up for a big 2013 with the release of ‘The 20/20 Experience.

Since then his album’s first single ‘Suit and Tie’ has dominated the charts worldwide and smashed US radio airplay records earning him his best first week sales ever.

The addition of Timberlake cements an incredible line-up for the 2013 show with performances on the night also coming from Robbie Williams, Muse, Ben Howard, One Direction, Mumford & Sons and Emeli Sande.
