Teen sensation Justin Bieber will both host and perform on the show Saturday Night Live (SNL) for the first time February 9. A source close to the 18-year-old confirmed he will present the comedy series and said that he is scheduled to do it next month to promote his Believe Acoustic album, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The confirmation comes after Bieber tweeted Monday: "Maybe I am hosting and performing on SNL. Maybe." Bieber previously appeared on the Late-Night Show as a musical guest in April 2010. He is not the only big name star who has agreed to host the show. Adam Levine will make his hosting debut January 26.

Levine's appearance will take place a week after Silver Linings Playbook actress Jennifer Lawrence makes an appearance January 19 with a performance from The Lumineers.
