‘Just good friends', says Premam' actress Anupama Parameswaran, denies dating Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah

Friendship, love and relationship between celebrities in entertainment and sports, especially cricket, is not uncommon. Many Bollywood celebrity wives have tied the knot with well-known cricketers. Sharmila Tagore, and Anushka Sharma are one of the few examples who settled down with legendary cricketers.

Another name that has popped up in the list of link-ups is of South Indian star Anupama Parameswaran, most known for her movie Premam, and cricketer Jasprit Bumrah. Speculations of them being a couple has been rife since quite some time.

The two came in limelight after they commented on each other's social media posts. Anupama following Bumrah on Twitter led to further speculations of a possible brewing romance between the two. The actress however denied all rumours to Pinkvilla and went on to clear that they are 'only friends' and 'not dating'.

This is however not the first time that Jasprit Bumrah, who is England with the Indian cricket team for ICC World Cup 2019, has been linked up with an actress. When his name was associated with South Indian actress Raashi Khanna, she had made a statement, "I know that Bumrah is an Indian cricketer, that's it."
