JP Morgan Chase infuriates porn industry by closing hundreds of adult stars accounts

London: JP Morgan Chase is reportedly in the process of closing the bank accounts of hundreds of porn stars'.

Chase bank, a subsidiary of JP Morgan Chase, sent out letters to the actors in the adult media, informing them that their accounts were in the process to be shut down, The Mirror reported.

The letters said that the bank reviewed their account and determined that they will be closing it on May 11, 2014. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

The letter went on to say that the adult stars could close their account before the date they've provided, adding that their account agreement says that either of them could close the account at any time, without notice and without a reason.

No other reason for the account closure was given in the letter.
