Buffy The Vampire Slayer first premiered in 1997 and went off the air in 2003. 12 years later, the show has just as much of a cult following as any other show on the air today. Sure Joss Whedon, the creator of the show has gone on to do much since. He almost won an Academy Award as part of the team behind Toy Story, he's created several other fan favourite shows like Angel, Dollhouse, and most notably Firefly. He's also been writing a whole bunch of comic books since, having critical runs in Astonishing X-Men, Buffy The Vampire Seasons 8,9, 10 as well as Angel - After The Fall, and Angel & Faith. But even though he's been busy for the last few years making the Marvel Cinematic Universe the most intricately brilliant super hero franchise out there, in between all these huge projects, Whedon took the time out to bring his first epic series back. Well, sort of.
It all started with a tweet by a fan.

Surprisingly Whedon replied to the tweet.
@ThoughtOtter okay what us your bidding DON'T WISH FOR MORE WISHES I'm onto that shit

And so it began.
@josswhedon Money! Wait. No. More Buffy the Vampire Slayer please
— Thoughtter (@ThoughtOtter) July 5, 2014
And lo and behold, Whedon agreed. And that one fan gave the world a beautiful gift. On a napkin.

So there you have it, Whedon pretty much gave us another episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Well, not really, the show is incredibly complex and brilliantly written, hence the strong fan following all these years later. But still, at least no one we loved died in this episode and we got to relive the nostalgia.
There's more though. The conversation continued, and Whedon gave us a look at Firefly on a napkin too.
@ThoughtOtter then let's get this starty parted! pic.twitter.com/EvWFIulMUl
