Harry Potter author JK Rowling has always been generous to her fans and all the Potterheads out there. She was in the news for sending Harry Potter books to Syrian children who wanted to read them to distract themselves from the relentless bombings.

This time, another fan-letter reached Rowling from Jammu & Kashmir. 12-year-old Kulsum wrote a heartwarming letter to the author.

She wrote, "I am not inspired by JK Rowling only because she writes well but also because she has faced many difficulties but she never gave up. "May Allah bless JK Rowling and give her a long life so that when I grow up, I get to meet her."

Kulsum's teacher in Haji Public School, Sabbah Haji Baji tweeted the letter to Rowling on her behalf.

Rowling replied to the tweet asking for Kulsum's full name so that she could send something for her. "Please, can you send me Kulsum’s full name by DM? I’d love to send her something," she tweeted.

The teachers at the school couldn't control their excitement when the reply came.

Two months later, on Saturday Kulsum and her classmates got special gifts from Rowling. Kulsum also received a personalised note from the author. The goodie box had the entire book series, merchandise from the movie series including Hedwig figure, magic wands, and bookmarks.

Doesn't it put a smile on your face?

On the professional front, Rowling's play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child won big at the recent Tony Awards. She is also gearing up for the sequel of Harry Potter spin-off franchise Fantastic Beasts.
