JK Rowling has admitted that her reputation has been restored as she received an apology from Daily Mail after winning the case in court.

The Harry Potter author believed that the apology read out in court made her completely vindicated and she is happy to bring these proceedings to a close, E! Online reported. The 49-year-old British novelist stated that she could have a unilateral statement read in open court in the terms of the draft she had submitted for approval.

The publication had previously published an article over the writer's time as a single mother titled "How JK Rowling's Sob Story About Her Past as a Single Mother Has Left the Churchgoers Who Cared for Her Upset and Bewildered".
