Jennifer Lopez set to receive Grace Kelly Award for her parenting skills

Hit singer and actress Jennifer Lopez is set to receive the Grace Kelly Award for her parenting skills and also as a celebrity parent to her twin kids. 

The 44-year-old singer is being recognised for showing strong support towards causes such as 'women giving birth to healthy babies after full-term pregnancies'. 

She’s is going to receive the award at the eighth annual March of Dimes luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel, the Washington Times reported.

Lopez, who is mother to 5-year-old twins, said in a statement, "As a mother myself, I am aware of the importance of healthful pregnancies and babies." 

The March of Dimes is a 75-year-old not for profit organisation which works to prevent birth defects, premature births and infant mortality among other causes prominently.
