Actor Jayam Ravi’s zombie film Miruthan with Lakshmi Menon released last Friday to a good response. It was first shot in Tamil and later dubbed into Telugu as Yama Pasham under the direction of Shakti Soundar Rajan and produced by S. Michael Rayappan under Global Infotainment banner.
The actor is excited about the release of his film Miruthan aka Yama Pasham in Telugu. Unfortunately, the Telugu release of Miruthan was postponed by a week. It was first scheduled to release simultaneously in both Tamil and Telugu on 19 February but due to delay in completing Telugu censor formalities, the release date of Yama Pasham has been postponed to 26 February.
According to the actor, Miruthan will be India’s first man vs nature film, where he plays a role of traffic cop in Ooty. His last film Thani Oruvan in Tamil was a blockbuster and now it is officially being remade into Telugu starring Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh.
