This is the first time he will be hosting an acting reality show and Jay is looking forward to it. “When it comes to acting, kids are natural and raw, they don’t go by the rule book and that makes it interesting,” he says.
Jay Bhanushali, who was last seen anchoring Voice India Kids, has been roped in to host another reality show revolving around children aged between four-13 years. Called Sabse Bada Kalakar, the show will be acting talent hunt. Says Jay, “There seems to a karmic connection between me and the kids as I am getting back-to-back offers to host children’s shows. I guess people are liking my equation with kids.” Ask him what is the secret and he says,
“The best thing with kids is you don’t have to think much. All you have to do is react to them. I am more like a friend to them. Also, I interact a lot with them off screen, so that they are comfortable with me in front of the camera. I encourage them to be frank and say whatever they want to — things they can’t tell the judges.”

Incidentally, it will also be the first time that Jay will be interacting with Raveena Tandon who is a co-judge on the show with Arshad Warsi. “When I got to know Raveena would be one of the judges, the first thing that came to my mind as her fan is I want to dance with her on Tip Tip Barsa Paani (Mohra) song. I hope she dances with me wearing the yellow sari that she had draped in the song with me sporting the brown suit and white shirt that Akshay Kumar wore,” he enthuses.
As for Arshad, Jay has interacted with him when the former has gone as a guest on the reality shows, hosted by the latter. “Arshad is spontaneous and comes up with some funny lines. I have seen him talking to the contestants and creating some great moments,” reveals Jay who will start shooting for the show from March.
