Javier Bardem - who has 20-month-old son Leo with wife Penelope Cruz - admits he struggled in some Skyfall scenes (Read review: Watch Skyfall for the performances, and new direction) , in which he plays cyberterrorist Raoul Silva, because he knows nothing about technology.

However, his incompetence was hidden by clever camera angles.

Javier, 43, said: "Cyberterrorism - I don't know what that means myself. Because I basically cannot send an email.

"That's like a whole different world to me. I'm so behind the technology these days. It's kind of scary.

"That's why Sam [Mendes, director] put the camera behind me when I was at the computer.''

Javier also admitted he was "lost" when it came to the scenes with firearms as he was clueless about the weaponry.

He told the USA Today newspaper: "I'm lost in that, too. I didn't even know what mine was called. For the most part, I just put in some earplugs and just shoot."
