Though he’s known as one of Hollywood’s best loved hardmen, for his physical ability and raw masculine energy, Jason Statham’s new diet regime may be putting his health at risk. The fit star is allegedly living on just brown rice and spinach as he prepares for a new film role, trying to stay as in shape as possible.

As his profile began to rise, Jason swapped London life for Hollywood and it seems that the LA way of life is starting to rub off on him. In a bid to stay ahead of the competition and be as trim and toned as possible, the British actor is reportedly sticking to just two ingredients a day. “Jason is determined to be lean and mean and will not touch anything other than these two ingredients,” a source told Daily Star Sunday.

The actor is currently filming his role in new film Heat, starring as gambling addict and bodyguard in the remake of the 1986 classic. “It’s a requirement of this role to be in top shape. He is shooting in New Orleans so he is surrounded by rich, fattening food,” added the source.
