James McAvoy, who plays the role of young Professor Xavier in X-Men, will be saying goodbye to his thick head of hair as the actor will be going bald for X-Men:Apocalypse.

The Scottish actor had played the 1960s version of the character of Professor Xavier, however, the actor had to shave his head as baldness is a side effect of character's brain-based mutant powers, Deadline.com reported.

Director Bryan Singer shared the evidence by sharing a pic on Twitter and Instagram.
