James Marsden is renowned for his charm, sculpted good looks and some of his unforgettable roles in the biggest Hollywood movies like X-Men series, 27 Dresses, The Notebook, Enchanted, Superman Returns, The Butler, The Best of Me, Walk of Shame and many more! Now the actor who has a special penchant for creating the most dreamy scenes is all set to star in what is touted to be one of the biggest shows this season - Westworld

The show is directed by Jonathan Nolan, one part of the Nolan brothers, celebrated for his gritty screenplays on Interstellar, The Dark Knight.

Westworld also stars some of the biggest actors of Hollywood, Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Rachel Evan Wood, Thandie Newton alongside James Marsden.

Marsden plays a cowboy, Teddy Flood, a mysterious wanderer at a fantasy-fuelled, futuristic theme park populated by humanoid robots where visitors can act out their wildest dreams told Stuff that he finally got to live “out that eight-year-old fantasy of being a cowboy gunslinger again – putting on chaps, a cowboy hat, a gun and riding horses” through the show.

In the war between humans and humanoids on Westworld, who will viewers root for?

“It's kind of personal,” James said about the show, “Maybe you will have empathy for them, maybe you will have empathy for the human race because of how they reveal themselves to be when they don't have society's judgement on how to behave. I maybe feel sorry for the human race.”

He also revealed how being a part of the show made him more aware of the downsides of Artificial Intelligence.

"I did learn a lot more about the potential catastrophic repercussions of basically giving over too much intelligence to something we create and all the other downsides of what it does to the human race to have fully automated everything," he added, “My mind goes to another great Michael Crichton project, Jurassic Park (Crichton wrote the original Westworld). Jeff Goldblum's character says, 'The scientists spent so much time wondering whether they could, they never stopped to think whether they should’ and I think we do that all the time now. We just want to advance technology and sell it, and if some bad s*** happens down the line because of it, we'll deal with it later.”

Westworld premieres in India on Star World Premiere HD on Tuesday, October 4th at 10 PM
