Jacqueline Fernandez or Shraddha Kapoor? Who will be Sooraj's lead?

We were the first to tell you that Remo D’Souza is planning a big action-dance film with Ajay Devgn and Sooraj Pancholi in the leading roles. The announcement was made last week. But the leading lady has not been cast as yet. 

Although it’s a two-hero project, the script requires only one heroine. “Ajay Devgn won’t have a heroine opposite him and they are planning to cast a known face opposite Sooraj. Even Tiger after his first film, was paired with an established heroine for Baaghi,” our source reasons.

Buzz is that the makers already have a few names in mind. The source adds, “Two actresses are being considered: Jacqueline Fernandez and Shraddha Kapoor. Remo wants Shraddha, with who he has worked with in his last film ABCD 2.  The music company producing the film wants to cast Jackie opposite Sooraj one more time after the BF-GF music video, which starred Sooraj and Jackie.”

While that decision is still up in the air, it’s an equal possibility that both actresses might get signed opposite the two heroes, which would be great, as they’d all be fresh pairs. However, for now, it seems there will be just one actresss in the film.
