Girl power will rule the new season of 'Splitsvilla' hosted by Rannvijay Singh and Sunny Leone

MTV will air its two flagship shows simultaneously on the weekends, MTV Roadies X4 and MTV Splitsvilla 9. 

The brand new season of MTV Splitsvilla 9 premiered on television on June 11, and by the looks of it, it's going to be about girl power on the show this season.

The show kickstarted with its 'Queen of hearts', Sunny Leone making a dramatic entry, riding a horse, to meet the 15 male contestants. The boys will have to fight hard to win the show as there are only 6 ladies available for wooing. To add to their woes, none of the boys will rule the throne this season. They will also not get a chance to dump any of  the princesses on the show. True to its theme, 'Where women rule', season 9 of Splitsvilla will only be ruled by the ladies. 

While there wasn't much action on the part of the contestants except the initial introduction and interactions post which the princesses had to pick the 'safe' guys, the hosts Sunny Leone and Rannvijay Singh (who is also co-hosting MTV Roadies X4), surely sparked some amicable moments.
