Item girl now heroine: Scarlet Wilson

Scarlet Wilson who had made her debut in Shanghai item number Imported Kamariya has now bagged her first lead role.

The Brit gal has been paired opposite Rajeev Khandelwal in an upcoming movie directed by Ehsaan Haider. What’s interesting is that initially she was cast for just a song in the film but she impressed them so much with her sincerity and screen presence that they offered her the lead role. 

However, she won’t be giving up her item tag anytime soon.

Given that every leading actress is grabbing item songs in films, she would be stupid to reject ones offered to her, no?
