It's official: Ranbir Kapoor's Sanjay Dutt biopic to CLASH with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's 'Tiger Zinda Hai'

Director Rajkumar Hirani has kickstarted his next project which is the Sanjay Dutt biopic. Rajkumar Hirani has commenced shoot for the film from Saturday in Mumbai and is targeting to wrap up the movie by June for a release this Christmas. 

Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Sanjay Dutt in the movie. Rajkumar Hirani has never failed to entertain mass audience with his movies. He is perhaps the only director with a 100% success rate with his directorial ventures.

But there's a big catch. YRF has also announced the release date of its next biggie. Ali Abbas Zafar's Tiger Zinda Hai, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif is also slated for a Christmas 2017 release. But with the official announcement from Hirani's end, it can be now be confirmed that Ranbir will go against his former lover Katrina and his arch rival Salman this Christmas.

More than a professional clash, this will also be one of the biggest clashes, on a more personal level. Katrina and Ranbir have had issues post their break-up and Salman and Ranbir don't share eye to eye ever since Kat dumped him for Ranbir. On the other hand, Salman and Sanjay Dutt too have had a huge fallout last year and the latter has even called the former 'arrogant' on a public platform. So the stage is set. But who will win? Or who will budge?
