Great news for the makers of Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam starrer Kaabil. The film is slated to hit silver screens in the neighbouring country. The ministry of Information and Broadcasting issued a certification on Tuesday announcing that the government has decided to continue with the existing open policy of showcasing all international films, including Indian films in Pakistani cinemas.
Kaabil will be the first film after a month long ban on releases. Cinemas will air the movie after relevant approval from Censor board, the notification dated January 31 said.
A source from Pakistani exhibitors circles said, "Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil is already on the programming charts of various cinemas in Pakistan. The film will be censored today. Kaabil was imported in Pakistan after a couple of days it was released in India, but a few documents were pending submissions. That was completed on Jan 30."
According to a tabloid, application for import of four Indian films, including OK Jaanu and Jolly LLB 2 have also been submitted.
