They’ve been teasing a collaboration with a British band and now it can be revealed that Bollywood music director duo Vishal Shekhar and British band The Vamps have collaborated on a song called Beliya. It is expected to be the first of many collaborations. The song was conceptualised and recorded in London by Vishal and Shekhar adding the essence of Indian music with the vocals of the popular band.

“It was super to work with the Vamps We went in not really knowing each other, but in a few minutes of being there, they had taken the song that we had created for them, and added their own vibe to it. There was a comfort and joy to the sessions we did and that is something I think you can hear in the track.

They really love India, especially the food and the music, while we really enjoy the music coming out of the UK, so we were all on the same page from the word go. The song is a celebration of the two cultures and of the fun we had!,” shared Vishal and Shekhar.
