Everyone is aware of the troubles plaguing The Kapil Sharma Show. After Kapil Sharma's much publicised fallout with Sunil Grover and Chandan Prabhakar, Ali Asgar and Sugandha Mishra boycotting the show too, Kapil has constantly been facing scrutiny from the public and media. Thus, it meant a lot for Kapil to pull off a good show for Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana when they visited TKKS for the promotion of their upcoming flick 'Meri Pyaari Bindu'.

Parineeti and Ayushmann seemed like they were in high spirits when they came and appeared to be having a good time. Pari even warned Kapil to be nice in the beginning of the show and ended by calling him 'God-gifted'. The two of them enjoyed without feeling the loss of Kapil's huge family much.

Also, with Kapil making subtle jokes about his troubles and Kiku Sharda and Sumona Chakraborty performing well, it looked like the show was back on track to being a household favourite again.

However, misfortunes continued to bombard the show as complaints were filed against Navjot Singh Sidhu's vulgar and cheap jokes used in the episode. A complaint was also filed in this regard by an advocate to Punjab chief secretary Karan A Singh.

The complainant wrote, “I viewed the Kapil Sharma Show on Saturday from 9 pm to around 10.15 pm. The ‘comedy’ of Kapil Sharma, and particularly that of Navjot Singh Sidhu was replete with vulgar, double-meanings and obscene dialogues...Although I am yet to procure a recorded version of the utterances of these two comedians, yet on the basis of whatever I can recollect, Sidhu told Kapil Sharma ‘Kapil, you please get married, otherwise after crossing 40-years of age, you shall lose your reproductive capacity’. Navjot Singh Sidhu further elaborated, saying ‘An old man once went to the toilet to attend nature’s call, when he returned he saw that he had not fastened the button of his pant. When asked for the reason, he replied, a road that has no treasure, what is the point of putting a lock to it?'"

Sidhu was already previously warned to curb his time on the show since he is now a minister. However, with attempts at humour like these, it doesn't seem like Sidhu's time on the show could be a very long one.
