Is Aditya opting out of Milan Talkies?

Tigmanshu Dhulia's film Milan Talkies seems to be jinxed. Reports earlier suggested that Shahid Kapoor, Imran Khan and Varun Dhawan were approached for the film but turned down the offer. Entered Aditya Roy Kapur who was finalised with ladylove Shraddha Kapoor, but again there is a twist.We hear that Aditya has opted out of the venture. Reason? Rumours suggest that the actor doesn't wish to play a non-urban character in the film, post the failure of Daaawat-E-Ishq. Milan Talkies is essentially about a man hailing from Uttar Pradesh, who works in a movie theatre and makes pirated films. The plotline is based on two lovers who aren't able to express their feelings towards each other.

Aditya seems to be unhappy with his character and the same is said to be the reason for his exit from the film. A source, however, revealed that the film's script hasn't been finalised yet and post entering the pre-production stage, the cast of the venture will be announced.
