Remember when Shah Rukh Khan had announced on International Women's Day 2013 that in his movies the names of actresses would appear ahead of his own in the credits, starting with Chennai Express? Well, looks like Shah Rukh's step towards bringing about a change in the mindsets has really inspired Amitabh Bachchan to follow his footsteps.

Why do we say so? Well, in a recent interview given to BollywoodLife.com when the legendary actor was asked about the prejudices in the industry, he opined that SRK took a very brave step when he decided on letting Deepika Padukone's name appear in the credits ahead of his own and went on to add that he would love it if Shoojit Sircar did something on the similar lines for his upcoming movie Pink. Here's what he said:

"For me there are two prejudices that come out very prominently – one is the credit titles in movies and the other is the pay scale. About the pay scale, there has been a lot of debate in other forms of activities sports and so on. But in the credit titles, Shah Rukh Khan took a very brave step by announcing Deepika’s name first before his in his film. You know I would urge Shoojit to do something similar for Pink; unless your credit titles have already been done. I would have no objections in whatsoever if my name is not there first, in the credit titles. I would love for the three girls’ names to be there and me somewhere in the end.”

What makes us happy is that the director readily agreed to do so!
