HBO has renewed two comedies - Dwayne Johnson's show "Ballers" and "Insecure", featuring Issa Rae - for seasons four and three, respectively.

"We're thrilled that the summer lineup of 'Ballers' and 'Insecure' connected with our viewers out of the gate," said Amy Gravitt, executive vice president, HBO Programming.

"We're so proud to work with Dwayne, Issa and all of the amazing talent in both shows."

"Ballers" has been one of the HBO's top comedies since it premiered in 2015, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Johnson, Stephen Levinson, Mark Wahlberg, Dany Garcia, Peter Berg, Evan Reilly, Rob Weiss, Julian Farino, Denis Biggs and Karyn McCarthy executive produce the series.

Rae co-created "Insecure" with Larry Wilmore, and she exec produces with showrunner Prentice Penny, Melina Matsoukas, Michael Rotenberg, Dave Becky and Jonathan Berry.
