'Indian Idol' season 2 winner Sandeep Acharya passes away, singers express shock

Indian Idol season 2 winner Sandeep Acharya died following illness resulting from jaundice on Sunday at 9 am. He was rushed to Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon, New Delhi after his health deteriorated. 

Acharya was at a wedding in Bikaner when his sitaution worsened and his relatives had to rush him to Medanta Medicity where he breathed his last. Doctors cited the cause due to aggravated illness due to Jaundice. 

Mnay eminnet singers expressed sadness over this untimely demise. Singers Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal tweeted about the 29-year-old singers brilliance. 

Acharya who won the Indian Idol in 2006 is survived by his wife and one-month-old daughter.
