Sometimes, the New Year brings in surprises that you definitely don’t want. Taher Shah is one of those surprises. The Pakistani singer-songwriter, who became an online sensation a few years ago, released a poem about love to bring in the New Year.
While the poem 'Humanity Love' is in good faith, it is Taher Shah’s attire that has had the world talking. This time, he looks like the love child of two James Bond villains— Goldfinger and Ernesto Blofeld — and we say this in the nicest way possible. Shah is dressed in a gold coloured gown and stroking a creepy looking white cat while spreading his message of loving mankind.
At the end of the video, the camera gets a side profile of him and he smiles, making him look like an axe murderer.
“Mohabbat hai imaan mera, pyaar meri pehchaan… (Love is my faith, love is my identity)”, says Shah at the beginning of the video. While we’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt regarding his intentions, the video has us think otherwise.
Hardly 1day in 2017 and Taher Shah released a new video and we thought 2016 was worst.
