Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds said he has a desire to unite the funny anti-hero with the clawed mutant Wolverine in a team-up movie, with Hugh Jackman reprising his role.

The 40-year-old actor said he wants the popular fictional characters together in a movie, especially because he wants to work with Jackman as he finds him one of the best human beings, reported AceShowbiz.

"I want Deadpool and Wolverine in a movie together. What we're gonna have to do is convince Hugh. If anything, I'm going to need to do what I can to get my internet friends back on board to help rally another cause down the line." Reynolds said.

"Hugh Jackman is one of the best human beings. Part of the reason I want to do a Deadpool/Wolverine movie is not just because I think the two would light the screen on fire but I genuinely love the guy," he said.

However, the possibility of a crossover to happen is very low as Jackman has confirmed that Logan, which will arrive in the US theatres next year on March 3, will mark his last appearance as the clawed mutant.
