Upasana Singh aka Pinky Bua is back on The Kapil Sharma. The actress had stayed back with Colors when Kapil Sharma and Co shifted to Sony and been part of Comedy Nights Live hosted by Krushna Abhishek. However, after six months she quit the show saying she had a bad experience. Says Upasana, "I regret that I stayed back. My character Pinky Bua was very popular and I had a contract with the channel. When they told me that I can continue with the role, I stayed back. However, I wasn't getting any creative satisfaction. My character was also dying. Even the payments were an issue." Ask her if she approached Kapil when she quit CNW and she says it was the other way round. "I got a call from Kapil's team as soon as I quit the show. But it took some time because they had to work on the character," she says.

Upasana who shot for her first episode of Kapil's show on Wednesday night is overwhelmed by the welcome she got. "Everybody was happy that I am back. It felt as though I was never away. I have worked with the team for almost two-and-a-half years and we are friends. They understand me. After all, everybody decides what is best for him/her," she says.

In the show she will be called Twinkle and will be married unlike Pinky Bua who was desperate to tie the know. Her husband is being played by Naseem Vicky. Their entry will be shown in this Sunday's episode.
