Pop sensation Enrique Iglesias, who belted out a sensational hit performance during his India tour last year, reveals that he is dying to return to the country that gave him so much love and adulation.

“I’m dying to go back to India. India is to me one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever visited,” he says, hinting at the possibility that he might be travelling to the country soon for just a visit or even a full-fledged country tour.

The singer, who has recently released the album titled Euphoria, reveals he is a big Beatles fan. “I became a bigger fan, obviously I grew up in the ‘80s and ‘90s and the Beatles were before that. The older I got, the more I appreciated the Beatles, and how they were able to change it up.

Now, you listen to the Beatles’ catalogue and you say ‘Oh my God, they didn’t have one bad song.’ It’s mind-boggling. What’s even more mind-boggling is you look at the years they did that, they did that in like six years, seven years?” he says.

Enrique adds that he has idolised Michael Jackson and Bruce Springsteen. “I mean Michael Jackson, obviously at the time, was the biggest for me. But I knew his music. Bruce Springsteen, I didn’t know his music, and ever since that show, since that day, I bought all his albums, because he’s become one of my favourite artistes of all time. He’ll make three hours seem like an hour-and-a-half,” he signs off.
