I’m discovering the flavours of UP: Ayushmann Khurrana

Ayushmann Khurrana  has started shooting Bareilly Ki Barfi with Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao in Lucknow. After playing a Bengali writer (in Meri Pyaari Bindu), now Ayushmann will play a publisher from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh.

Ayushmann also has earlier adapted to regional accents and personas onscreen in Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Vicky Donor, now play a local UP man in this film with the appropriate accent. A source reveals, “His character is a strong, rustic, muscular fellow. He has bulked up  for that.”

Talking to us from the sets, the actor says, “I am discovering the flavours of UP. The weather is lovely. So is my co-actor Kriti. The endeavour is to be one with the world of my film.”
