I feel honoured to tell Kashibai's story in 'Bajirao Mastani', says Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra has opened up about playing the role of Kashibai in the upcoming film Bajirao Mastani. In a video released by Eros Now, the actress speaks about how it challenged her as an actress.

The Quantico actress, who plays Bajirao's wife in the film, spoke of how important it was for her to portray this character well for the masses. She goes on to say that Kashibai was the one who was left behind and that she feels honoured to tell her untold story. "Sanjay Bhansali is a magician filmmaker. Thus, I had to explore every facet of me as an actor to play Kashi," she said. 

Bajirao Mastani, which is a take on the love story between Peshwa Bajirao I and Mastani, stars Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.The film will hit the silver screen on December 18.
