Priyanka Chopra kick-started the second season of The Anupam Kher Show. Ms Chopra came dressed in a beautiful Dior monochrome gown to the show. The Quantico beauty revealed many secrets about herself. Here are some beans she spilled on the show…

I was competitive as a child. I don’t like failure, I get depressed.

Priyanka revealed that as a child she was very competitive and she liked winning. She used to get depressed on losing things.

I loved saying No to everything. Sent to hostel in third standard

As a child PC was spoilt and stubborn so she liked saying no to everything. But then she was sent to boarding school in her third grade and after that she was a lot more disciplined!

I used to mimic people a lot. People called me Mitthoo and I HATED it!

As a child PC used to mimic people, much to her parents’ embarrassment. So to stop her people around her started calling her Mitthoo (like a parrot) and till today she hates it!

I wanted to be an engineer

She never wanted to become a model and as she couldn’t stand the sight or smell of blood, she didn’t want to become a doctor. So PC decided to become an engineer. But obviously, life had different plans!

Ironically, black girls bullied me and said racist things, they called me brownie.  

When she enrolled in an American school, life wasn’t hunky dory. As an Indian, she was subjected to racism which made her want to come back to India. After coming back to Bareilly, PC’s brother and mother sent her photographs to the Miss World contest without telling her and the rest as you know is history!

Priyanka revealed that most of her training in the field of acting has been on the job. She has picked up valuable lessons on sets itself and she considers herself very good at her job and most of all she is dedicated and hard-working.

I was cast for Krrish after Rakesh Roshan saw rushes from Aitraaz.

PC told on the show that Rakesh Roshan saw her at her father’s funeral and after that he called her to ask her abotu signing Krissh. He then saw some of her rushes from Aitraaz and decided to cast her opposite Hrithik Roshan.

I just wanted to do Barfi because Anurag thought I couldn’t 

PC said on the show that at first when Anurag Basu came to her house for the narration he saw her dressed up and decided that it was not a good idea to cast her in the film as an autistic girl. PC then determined to prove Basu wrong and researched thoroughly about the role for 5 days before meeting with Anurag again to convince him. We can all say that she nailed it!
