I don’t get asked out, says Tamara Ecclestone

She may be one of the world’s most eligible women but Tamara Ecclestone says she never gets asked out on a date.

The daughter of Formula One supremo Bernie, 82, who split from long-term boyfriend Omar Khyami in July, however, insists that she is enjoying singledom.

“I don’t get asked out. I’ve been spending time in LA with my sister and just learning what it’s like to be on my own,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

“Its the first time I’ve been single in years so it’s good for me to get to know myself.

Potential suitors of the wealthy socialite would be happy to know that the 28-year-old is down-to-earth and doesn’t believe in making judgment calls about someone based on his economic status.

“What somebody does in life doesn’t define them. What they do is irrelevant,” she said.

“I’d date someone who works in Burger King or McDonald’s – I like a Happy Meal!” she added.
