I'd love to work with director S S Rajamouli, says actress Mamta Mohandas

After spending some time in United States, actress Mamta Mohandas has made it a point to come to Hyderabad for the first edition of the IIFA Utsavam that is being held there.

Looking as pretty as ever, the actress chatted happily. Ask her about the IIFA Utsavam and she says it's wonderful that the south film industries are being honoured. Mamta will also be seen performing on stage. In fact, well-known choreographer Shiamak Davar has put together a fabulous show she says.

Talking about films, Mamta says she'd love to work in Telugu films and do a film with Rajamouli too! She says, "With reheard to Malayalam films, it's good to recognise the work of the film industry. Malayalam film industry has given a lot of actresses to other film industries. Even the movies they make are being recognised nationally."

Referring to Rajamouli's Baahubali, Mamta also stated that we have shown that films that have a lot of graphics and strong content - not just mythology - are as good as Hollywood films.

Mamta will be performing for the Malayalam film awards of IIFA UTSAVAM on Sunday.
