I can make Harry Styles a solo success: Jay Z

Rapper Jay Z believes he can make One Direction star Harry Styles a huge success as the singer embarks on his solo career.

The 46-year-old "Empire State of Mind" rapper said he can hook Styles, 21, up with the top artists and producers and ensure his solo career goes really well, reported Daily Star.

"Harry doesn't need any help with exposure, everybody in the world knows who he is. But he does need to make the transition from being part of a group to becoming an individual artist. I can get him working with the bigger artists, the biggest producers - and have him as the biggest artist in the world within a year."

Styles, whose group will be taking a hiatus next year, has already written a number of songs including four with Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid.
