I am nervous about facing the camera with my father: Sooraj Pancholi

Debutant Sooraj Pancholi who has so far breezed through the toughest of dramatic and action scenes in his debut film Hero is tense about facing the camera with his father Aditya Pancholi. Aditya has been signed on at the last minute for the Hero remake. The father and son have some moments of shared dramatic intensity.

Says Sooraj, "I have seen my parents' performances. Though my mother (Zarina Wahab) is acknowledged as a good actor my father didn't get his due. He was really good in Mahasangram, Yaad Rakhegi Duniya, Saathi and many others."

But it's not his dad's talent that Sooraj is apprehensive about. "Just the thought of sharing screen space with my father is quite intimidating. Nothing I did so far for my debut film equals my anxiety now."

Other father-son jodis who have paired on screen include Amitabh Bachchan-Abhishek in Bunty Aur Babli and Sarkaar, Dharmendra-Sunny Deol-Bobby Deol in Yamla Pagla Deewana and Apne, Rakesh Roshan-Hrithik Roshan in Koi Mil Gaya, Rishi Kapoor-Ranbir in Besharam, Feroz Khan-Fardeen in Prem Aggan, Janasheen.
