A huge TV controversy shook the entire small screen when actress Shilpa Shinde who played Angoori Devi on &TV's Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai slammed the makers of the show for mistreating her. She even made an unceremonious exit from the show, initially citing health issues but then informing the team that she doesn't want to do the show anymore.

That created a huge ruckus and it was only after that the makers decided to opt for a legal recourse. Binaifer Kohli, the producer wanted her to join the show and CINTAA too ordered the actress to resume shooting but she refused to budge. After three notices going unheard, CINTAA took a strong action against the actress. They have now enforced a lifetime ban on her which means that she won't be able to do any more shows on the small screen ever. No producer can hire her for their shows and if they do, they will face dire consequences.

In her defence, Shilpa has not hit out at the governing body as well as her makers. Knowing that she has been banned for a lifetime now, Shilpa spoke to a leading TV portal and told them, "I don't want to return to small screen. They wouldn't need to ban me, as I am only banning them."

Sorry Shilpa, but saying all this won't help you anymore. You have lost both the shows you had in hand. While your stance cost you Bhabi Ji which gave your the much needed fame and recognition, the lifetime ban took away your opportunity to be on The Kapil Sharma Show as well.
