Alia Bhatt is on a signing spree and has varieties of films in her kitty. This year she had two releases including Gully Boy and Kalank. Her upcoming films are Brahmastra, Sadak 2, RRR and Takht. She also had Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah, however, the film has got shelved for now. Alia has been impressing everyone with her incredible performances since 2012 and has won several accolades for her films over the year.

During her interaction with Hindustan Times, Alia spoke about being a sorted actor. She stated, "It’s not about being sorted. It’s just that I am honest about choosing films. As a part of the audience if I don’t want to watch a particular film more than once, then I don’t want to make it. The next thing is the variety."

She further said, "There is no process that I follow, my instinct drives me to whether I want to do a quick film, a big film, a thriller or a happy film... Also, as an actor, there are certain kinds of directors I want to work with."

Alia also shared how she expressed her desire to work with SS Rajamouli to the filmmaker. She said, "I look up to his work and been a fan even before Baahubali (2015). In fact, not many would know that when I met him at the airport I was like, ‘Sir I want to work with you’. After Baahubali, the moment I heard that he is working on his next film, I knew I had to work with him. He was surprised and told me that he was also thinking of working with me and I would have got a call from him anyway."

The Kalank actor added, "I am learning all my lines in Telugu and trying to understand them well. I want every scene to be authentic."
