Says Chitrangda Singh's husband, golfer Jyoti Singh Randhawa.
There have been rumours of Chitrangda Singh’s marriage being on the rocks. The actress has not been spotted with the husband since last year. He has also not visited her in Mumbai.
However, Jyoti Singh Randhawa now puts the rumours to rest. In a recent interview to Society magazine, proudly talking about his wife, he gushed, “It feels great that two people are doing well in their professions and are enjoying it. I could not have asked for more. It is tough on my family, and me as I am travelling most of the time, so is my wife. Moreover, we have a five-year-old son, so we try our best that one of us stays home. Also, nani, dada and dadi are always there to pitch in when we are not around.”
When asked if her item songs in films bothered him or his family, he said, “You know item number is also just acting. What you see on screen is totally different from what it is really like on the movie set. On screen, it is shown as steamy but actually, there are 10 cameras, 10 spot boys and people watching you from everywhere. Besides, if she is okay with me travelling around the world, and playing golf then I should also be okay with what she is doing.”
He further added, “She goes for around 15 days a month (to Mumbai) and comes back home, so do I. We spend around five to 10 days a month together. It’s just that, in these two-three years, she has done a few more movies. The things is, that I am doing my thing and she is busy doing hers, and when we are together, we are devoted full-time. In fact, it is good to get away and come back. Staying in the same place, one tends to get used to each other. We like our space, our freedom and we spend time together too.”
