Huma Qureshi takes some time off

Actress Huma Qureshi is on a personal high. The newcomer who had a successful stint with her debut in producer-director Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs Of Wasseypur, is enjoying the critical acclaim she got for her newly released film Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana. Now, after working continuously for sometime, the actor took a much-needed break to spend some quality time with her family.  

A source tells us, “Huma finally got a couple of days off to visit her family in Delhi. After working back-to-back for two films and two more films in her kitty, Huma took some time off to enjoy the success of her movies with her parents in Delhi. After the release of her latest film, Huma flew directly to the capital for a few days before getting into the gruelling schedule of her next film the multistarrer, D-Day. After her small holiday in Delhi, she will fly to Ahmedabad for the film’s shooting schedule of a month.”

Huma was also excited to meet Formula 1 racing star Lewis Hamilton recently. “She was invited to engage in a special conversation with Lewis since she is a huge F1 fan and passionate about supercars. During their conversation the two discovered that they both love chicken tikka masala and they bonded over Indian food and cars. While Huma tried teaching him a Bollywood song, Lewis showed her some special F1 fitness moves,” the source added.

After D-Day, the actor will be busy with director Vishal Bhardwaj’s Ek Thi Daayan, which also stars Emraan
Hashmi.
