Hugh Jackman banned self from drinking while filming 'The Wolverine'

Hugh Jackman’s personal trainer has revealed that the star was so driven to get into shape for ‘The Wolverine’ that he refused to drink any alcohol during the movie’s filming.

Michael Ryan told French website Eurosport.com that the Hollywood star has a strong competitive nature and is very demanding with himself, Contactmusic reported.

Ryan recalled that one day he told the 45-year-old actor that he could have just one beer, but he refused and made fun of him when he ordered one.

Ryan added that Jackman is the most dedicated and hardworking student he has ever had who is constantly trying to better himself.
