How Samar Khan got Aditya Chopra to talk

Aditya Chopra never gives interviews, not even for the publicity of his own films. Yet, filmmaker Samar Khan managed to get Adi to write a full chapter on the star for his book SRK: 25 Years of A Life On Shah Rukh Khan. When we asked him how he managed.

He says, “By waiting outside his office for months on end. I had to be patient. Initially, he wouldn’t even meet me, but finally, one day, I managed to get a meeting with him. Even then, he said no. I asked Shah Rukh to ask him to do it and he did. One day, Aditya Chopra just said he would talk and he did! My prayers were answered.”
