Housefull 3 grows on Saturday at box office, collects Rs 31.50 crore in 2 days!

Akshay Kumar's latest film to hit screens is Housefull 3. The mad cap comic caper is the third instalment in the immensely successful franchise. This time, Akshay has the regulars Jacqueline Fernandez and Riteish Deshmukh with him along with Abhishek Bachchan, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon who have now joined the Housefull bandwagon. 

High on anticipation, the film managed to record a decent opening day total, thanks to the rib-tickling humour that worked in the film's favour. There's a huge recall value to the film which also helped in registering a figure of over Rs 15 crore on day 1 at the box office. 

After amassing around Rs 15.25 crore on the opening day, the film grew a bit on Saturday at the plexes and amassed another Rs 16.25 crore at the BO. With that, the two day total for HF 3 amounts to Rs 31.50 crore. 

Now, it needs to be seen if the film betters its performance on Sunday and crosses the Rs 50 crore mark in the opening weekend itself. Nevertheless, the collections have been decent although it could have been much better.
