'Homesman' star Hilary Swank slams Hollywood for paying men 10 times more than women

American actress Hilary Swank has slammed Hollywood for paying her male counterparts 10 times more than her for the same job.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 40-year-old actress, who can get enough of the 'bureaucracy' around the acting 'business', said that acting can be challenging because of the things that one hears, like, they have only this much left for the female actress and so on.

The Homesman star said that there are two genders on this Earth, both of which are compelling, interesting, diverse and wonderful in all their own separate ways. Swank, who claims that there's an influx of male roles and there's just not for women, added that she can't complain because she has had handfuls of them, but she would like more opportunities.

Swank continued that she doesn't find a compelling role easily, which is frustrating because they can be created, but they're just not all the time.
