With his 'Chotuskone' having completed 50 days at box office, director Srijit Mukherjee says it is the language of cinema that reigns over . "From Autograph to Chotuskone I had never deviated from my craft. The six films had vindicated my belief that the language of cinema is something to be comprehensible to people," Srijit told PTI.

He was asked if 'Brand Srijit' has itself created a niche segment of viewers. "Yes, you may call the six films of mine a cinematic journey or turning a cycle. But I will stick to my form and content of cinema for the next six films as well," Srijit said.

"Even if they are not as much successful I won't deviate," Srijit, whose Sushmita Sen-starrer Nirbaak will be premiered in the IFFI film bazar, said. Coming to Nirbaak, he termed it as very different from his previous films, more nuanced, less populist where silence becomes evocative.
