It was Aditya Chopra who started the ban in cameras on his sets, now more and more filmmakers are doing the same. Anurag Kashyap has made it clear to the cast and the crew of Bombay Velvet not to bring cell phones or cameras on the sets.

“Anybody carrying a cell or camera is stopped by security outside and their equipment is confiscated and handed over only when they leave. Stars have been told to keep their phones inside their vans or makeup rooms,” says a souce. As BV is a period film, the producers want to keep Ranbir Kapoor’s and Anushka Sharma’s look a secret.” Let’s see if Anurag manages to pull off the difficult feat.
