Here’s why Ranbir Kapoor skipped ‘Tamasha’ promotions on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 9!

Deepika Padukone had never promoted any of her previous films on Salman Khan’s much hyped Bigg Boss. But with Tamasha, the scenario changed as she finally made her debut on Bigg Boss 9. She talked, she danced, she proposed and possibly did everything to entertain the audience. Yet, one person had the audiences thinking. Ranbir Kapoor! Conspicuous by his absence, Ranbir decided to skip the BB9 promotions.

While there have been numerous speculations on the same, Ranbir finally spilled the beans on why he did not want to be a part of the promotions on Salman’s show. Previously, while on an office visit, Ranbir had clarified, “Deepika is going for Bigg Boss, I am not.” After the show was telecast, when Ranbir was quizzed about his absence, he simply replied, “Deepika and the marketing team thought ‘Bigg Boss’ is a big platform to promote the film. But I didn’t go for my own personal reasons. “

Now for all those who have been following Ranbir’s life know what these personal reasons refer to! Well, Ranbir is currently dating Katrina Kaif who was also the ex-flame of Salman. After the two started seeing each other, things soured between the Dabangg Khan and the Rockstar. So much that they started avoiding each other in public forums and took great care so that they don’t bump into each other. And that obviously meant no Bigg Boss for Ranbir!
