Here's why Madhuri Dixit Nene called up Sanjay Dutt after 25 years!

Looks like it's raining biopics in Bollywood this season with the one on Sanjay Dutt to be the latest in line. But what made Madhuri Dixit Nene to call up once very close friend Sanjay Dutt after 25 years? The answer is, Rajkumar Hirani's biopic on the life of B-Town's very own Munnabhai!

Confused? What would Madhuri have to do with Sanjay Dutt's biopic? Well! For those who aren't aware, Madhuri and Dutt were rumoured to be dating back then, well before Dutt was arrested in 1993. However, she completely dissociated herself from Dutt after his arrest.

As the case is with biopics, many controversial and never-before-heard truths come out in open, it is evident that the Aaja Nach Le actress became a bit uncomfortable on hearing about this one on Sanjay. According to Indiatvnews.com, Madhuri was anxious to know whether there will be any references made to her in the biopic and hence called up the Saajan actor. Reportedly, her worries have been taken care of as the Khalnaayak actor has asked Hirani not to make any reference to her in the film.
